“Clarity is the child of careful thought and experimentation.” – Brendon Burchard

No one embodies curiosity more than kids that are just learning how to speak and are trying to understand the world around them. These kids ask a lot of questions – why is the sky blue? Why do I have to go to school? Why can’t I stay up as late as you? One study found that curious kids can ask as many as 73 questions each day! Even though this curiosity gets socialized out of most adults as they grow up, there is still an inherent in-built need to find clarity in our world in each one of us.

Clarity is a fundamental high performance habit. It is no secret that high performers are very clear about who they are, where they are going in life and how to achieve their ambitions – it is not an accident that people with high clarity are successful. Before you start kicking yourself, because you are not clear about what you want in life or how to get to where you want to be, take it easy. Clarity can be learned. All you need to do is return to your inner child and carefully construct questions about yourself, your life and what you want to achieve and get to experimenting!!! As more information comes to light through this exercise, refine your questions and keep going. The goal is to build self-awareness and self-esteem – these two things build a positive mindset which should be the foundation of your transformation journey. Start getting clear now and have fun with it!!!
